Weiss-Aug seeks an experienced recruiter to temporarily supplement our existing staffing efforts in support of a growing division. Hours are part-time and can range from 20-30 hours per week.

This position is responsible for sourcing and recruiting for direct hire openings. Types of positions range from administrative to technical (engineering) professionals and management in a manufacturing environment.

responsibilities INCLUDE:     

  • Source, screen, and vet qualified candidates for presentation to hiring managers.

  • Network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our company, reduce our time-to-hire, and attract the best professionals.

  • Develop a talent pipeline to assist long-term with hiring and retention.

  • Utilize multiple internet resources, including job boards and social media, keeping up-to-date with new technological trends and products.

  • Track and manage candidate database.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Proven experience recruiting for all levels of positions in a manufacturing environment; recruitment experience in the medical products or insert molding industries a plus 

  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques including internet and social media

  • Hands-on experience screening and interviewing candidates

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Solid understanding of HR practices and employment law
