Weiss-Aug has
designed and manufactured an extensive number of insert molded connectors
for the high speed router and switch markets. This is where our
two core competencies, precision stamping and insert molding, are
combined to provide exceptionally cost effective designs for our
customers. The first two examples show the metal stamped lead frames
at the bottom of the picture prior to the insert molding process.
The third photo shows an RF Connector which has been produced with
our reel to reel molding capabilities. This packaging approach can
greatly aid in facilitating our customers’ downstream automation.
